Natural Apothecary DIY - Bath, Body & Skin Care Workshops

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTIONS & DETAILS

In our hands-on class Workshops, kids learn how to make their very our natural bath body and skin care products, using natural & organic ingredients. Participants take home the products that they make. All products that are made in our workshops are labeled, packaged for home use or gift giving and come with general use and storage instructions. Workshops are designed to unleash the chemist in girls and boys, promote wellness, build self-esteem and self-image and light up the inner and outer spark in all!

Each Class runs approximately 1 ½ - 2 hours

Space is limited to 10 children for each workshop.

Location: Wynford Recreation, Toronto, ON

BODY SCRUBS - November 6

Fees $40 per child

Participants learn to make 2 types of scrubs one for the lips and one for the body!

Coconut Lip Scrub Ingredients: Coconut Oil, Coconut Sugar, Sweet Almond Oil, Orange & Tea Tree Essential Oils

Citrus Body Polish Ingredients: Sea Salt, Coconut Sugar, Coconut Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Lemon Peel Powder, Tangerine and Lime Essential Oils

BATH MILK - November 13

Fees $40 per child

Oatmeal Cookies Bath Milk Ingredients: Coconut Milk, Oat Flour, Sea Salt, Orange Fruit Powder, Baking Soda, Grapeseed Oil, Calendula Botanicals, Lavender & Orange Essential Oils

Herbal Bath Salts Ingredients: Natural Source Epsom Salts, Sea Salt, Coconut Milk Powder, Baking Soda, Botanicals (Lavender, Rose & Chamomile), Sunflower Oil, Lavender Essential Oil

Mohito Body Balm Ingredients: Shea Butter, Kokum Butter, Grapeseed Oil, Avocado Oil, Beeswax, Natural Apothecary ‘s Mojito Blend of Essential Oils (Lime, Spearmint, Tangerine, Grapefruit)

Perfume Oil Ingredients: Apricot Kernel Oil infused with Calendula Botanicals, Natural Apothecary’s Gypsy Blend of Essential Oils (Lavender, Geranium, Bergamot, Ylang Ylang)

Workshop Requirements: To reserve your spot payment in Full is required. Workshop fees are NON-REFUNDABLE as per our CANCELLATION POLICY *By purchasing a Workshop you confirm to agree with these terms. We require a minimum of 6 students before we run a class. If for some reason we have to cancel a class we will email you 48 hrs before the scheduled class, offer an alternated date or FULLY Refund your purchase. *Participants must be 8 years or older to participate in our Children’s Workshops. *Workshop descriptions and product ingredients are subject to change. Participants will be advised of any changes to ingredient/products up to 48 hrs before the scheduled class. Please also read our MEDIA RELEASE POLICY

All participants must wear closed, toe shoes, long sleeves, long pants,

have their hair tied up and bring an apron to wear at all workshops.

*Our workshops are NOT Nut Free. Please advise us of any allergies prior to booking your child’s workshop.

Products that contain essential oils are formulated to be kid friendly, they are lightly scented and contain a .25-1% essential oil ratio/product net weight. Please do not use products that contain ingredients that you/your child is sensitive to.

All classes are taught by zero-in on WELLNESS, NATURAL APOTHECARY shop owner Effie (Registered Holistic Practitioner, Aesthetics & Holistic Therapies Educator) and are held at the following Location: Ralph Thornton Community Centre -765 Queen St. East, Toronto, ON *If for some reason the location needs to be changed, you will be notified 48 hrs before the scheduled workshop.

PRIVATE EVENTS & KIDS PARTIES You can book your very own private workshop for an upcoming event (birthday, special event) for your Child. Requirements: Minimum 8 Children FOR Private Events and 12 FOR Girl Guide Events.
